FARGO, N.D. — On May 1, 20 staff members were accepted into the partnership of Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm.

The partners/principals are:
Amy Knust, principal, Fargo. Amy helps clients reach their strategic business goals by assisting them with the evaluation and selection of technology solutions designed to streamline business processes and support growth. She leads organizations through enterprise resource planning evaluations and serves as the technical architect in the selection process.
Aric Radmacher, partner, Minneapolis. Aric’s focus is on financial institutions and small to mid-sized privately held companies. He provides tax consulting, planning and compliance services to his clients as well as conducts tax research projects and communicates current tax developments to clients and staff. Aric is also involved with merger and acquisition issues, including tax structuring of transactions and preparing regulatory applications.
Brent Roeder, partner, Fargo. Brent provides tax consulting and tax compliance services to clients primarily within the agricultural industry. His clients include agricultural producers, agricultural cooperatives, trucking companies and short-line railroads.
Bruce Egbert, partner, Lehi. Bruce specializes in assisting small business owners and entrepreneurs in growing their businesses. By being actively involved with clients, Bruce is able to help them make sound financial decisions that increase efficiency, profitability and peace of mind.
Carolyn Linkov, principal, Minneapolis. Carolyn advises buyers and sellers on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions. She has more than 20 years of experience working with both public and private companies on federal income tax implications of various corporate reorganizational issues, including spin-offs, taxable asset sales and tax-free reorganizations.
Cory Van Maanen, partner, Sioux Falls. Cory provides public accounting services to Eide Bailly clients in the healthcare, dealership, manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries. He actively manages the financial statement audits and consulting activities for a variety of entities within these industries.
D.C. Lucas, principal, Fargo. D.C. works with clients and prospects to identify and utilize technology solutions for their business issues. In his role of business development, his main goal is to help bridge the gap between the client’s needs and the right technology needed to achieve their business goals.
Donny Matteson, partner, Oklahoma City. Donny helps clients in various industries navigate the ever-changing tax code to develop effective tax plans and accomplish their goals. He leads clients through their business and technology challenges and provides exceptional client service by offering proactive solutions, processes and resources.
Jon Ault, principal, Fargo. Jon helps clients identify and apply technology solutions that support their strategic business objectives. He provides clients with leadership through technology assessments, business intelligence and analytics, and he develops strategic plans for information technology.
KayLynn Hilton, partner, Orem. KayLynn helps our clients take advantage of tax saving opportunities in the real estate industry by using cost segregation studies, like-kind exchanges and other methods to reduce or defer taxes. She gets to know each client and their business and makes recommendations to help increase efficiencies.
Ksenia Popke, partner, Denver. Ksenia serves a variety of nonprofit entities in fields such as education, cultural and performing arts, health and human services, public and private foundations, science and research. She also assists federally funded nonprofit organizations. Ksenia helps her clients navigate the ever-changing complexities of the nonprofit world, and she enjoys building rich personal relationships.
Kyle Orwick, partner, Minneapolis. Kyle leads our firmwide quality of earnings and due diligence service. He helps both buyers and sellers understand the risks and opportunities involved in the business being sold, and he provides insight into overcoming risks and taking advantage of financial opportunities. He also consults on other deal matters, such as working capital and post-integration plans.
Luke Taylor, partner, Salt Lake City. Luke audits a variety of industries but spends a significant amount of time working with manufacturing and distribution clients and nonprofit organizations. He offers proactive solutions for business and technology challenges and serves as a resource for a variety of business needs.
Mark Guy, partner, Minneapolis. Mark helps businesses meet their financial reporting needs by providing insight into new accounting standards. He works with clients on their employee benefit plan audits as well as accounting for complex debt and equity financing arrangements, stock option compensation and revenue recognition.
Michelle Beaty, partner, Abeline. Michelle provides public accounting services, including tax compliance, planning services and tax return preparation, for individuals, nonprofits, trusts and various business entities. She has experience in tax compliance for pass-through entities, rental real estate, oil and gas, construction contractors and a variety of state returns.
Ryan Beste, partner, Fargo. Ryan provides audit and accounting services to a variety of clients, including automotive and implement dealerships, manufacturers, closely-held businesses, agricultural-related businesses, SEC registered entities, and 401(k) and ESOP plans. His client work also includes engagements with large, multi-location organizations as well as consulting to assist with financial reporting.
Scott Nelson, partner, Billings. Scott has over 20 years of experience planning, performing and supervising audit engagements. He provides services to many industries, including healthcare, nonprofit and a variety of commercial entities. He works alongside clients to complete their goals and takes the time to understand their hurdles and challenges.
Stacey Nelson, partner, Sioux Falls. Stacey has many years of experience planning, performing and supervising audit engagements. She provides services to a variety of industries, including nonprofit and hospitality. Stacey also conducts single audits for nonprofit entities.
Tonya Rule, partner, Mankato. Tonya is part of Eide Bailly’s National Tax Office and specializes in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). She works with businesses both large and small on the rules surrounding the Affordable Care Act. She assists large employers with compliance requirements, Forms 1094-C and 1095-C and technical rules. Rule also regularly works with clients on various ACA IRS notices and has been very successful in getting most of these penalties abated.
Will Kerns, partner, Denver. Will provides audit and assurance work to help clients achieve their financial reporting goals. He serves a variety of clients and industries, including public and non-public entities, real estate and construction, homebuilders, manufacturing, retail, distribution and logistics companies.
